I've used this product, having tricked Decleor Keep Control for men (no longer available)and, Clairins Anti-Shine gel for men, even Smashbox Antishine. The Shisheido Anti-Shine gels far superior: it is cool and totally non comedogenic, plus it lasts for hours and can easily be re-applied anywhere. the tube is small, though so little is needed that it lasts a long time. The tall, narrow tube is easy to carry around, as I do, in my messenger bag.It gives a matte finish and makes skin pores almost disappear.

This is a GREAT product that keeps skin looking fresh and not shiny/oily(especially on forehead and sides of the nose, the so-called T-Zone). It lasts all day, usually; and a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, I was told at two Shiseido counters that Shiseido has discontinued the product. Always happens when I LOVE a product, AARRGH! The so-called "equivalent" in the women's line("Pureness") is not the same/not as good. I ordered TWO from Amazon, because pretty soon YOU won't be able to find it anywhere!

Having a very oily forehead/nose/cheek area has always been a problem for me. This product makes you not shine for more than 5 hours. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lack of detailed instructions on its use. Never really having used facial products, the company should invest some ink for men like me. If put on too thick, it ends up caking on your skin.

I figured it would work better because it was created for guys who, on average, have oilier complexions than women. Nope. Not the case at all. It feels nice, sure, but nowhere near as good as I would expect from this company.
